Horse the Band first appeared at Bullstock '99, El Toro High School. Eventually, after practicing their instruments and scales and studying music theory, someone gave them some money to record an album. They released 'The Mechanical Hand' in 2005, introducing the beloved characters of Lord Gold and Manateen and many other such things.

They assaulted and captivated unsuspecting metalcore audiences, offering up 8-bit Nintendo keyboards, frantic dance parties, and euphoric spasticity into the genre blender. They cultivated a distinctive worldview ("Living at the top when you’re at the f****** bottom") in their travels circling the globe, performing in 50 different countries in 85 days, on the self-booked Earth Tour.

Now they are here, with renewed vigor, in the year of the FIRE HORSE, to celebrate their return to the future which is their past which was birthed from the future.
